no more projects! Just handed the last one in.

I ended ud doing a project with a wide variety of end users requiring a vide variety of applications to view the dta. I used ArcMap and ArcCatalog as the proprietary software and qGIS as the open source. Quantum GIS is fully adaquate in my view for this kind of data management projects. I also created a web application using mapserver to feed the maps and ka-Map to create the application itself. I really like ka-Map now. The interface looks real nice and I changed the look to my needs by going through the html and php files. Real Easy!

So this was altogether a succes -just hope the guys marking think the same- and even if they don’t I feel that I really learn’t a lot about online mapping. I hope I can use some of it in the future and specially in my dissertation project – which is the next thing I need to get started with.

And so the work continues…!
