It’s beginning to look at lot like Christmas – around here!
Outside my office window the ground is covered with snow and it gives a nice and cosy feel to it.
My parents visited in the weekend and we took them for a walk up Olympiaberg where big snow machines where pumping out masses of snow while the sun was shining. However, before we got back home in the afternoon the sun had gone and nature decided to show us that it could produce much more snow than a couple of machines.
We also visited a couple of Munich’s lovely Christmas markets. The Münchner Freiheit was a new one for us with its lovely craft stalls and great food. The Medieval market is also cool but very crowded. But the favorite is the Residenz with it’s amazing bio glühweine.
John keeps reminding me to touch the lion for him for luck!
Finally a greeting from our local Christmas market at Rotkreuzplatz. Bess is a big fan of this one as there is a carousel for the kids that she likes to look at and a Father Christmas on a bike going back and forth above the market. I’m also rather partial to the apfelkuchen with cinnamon and sugar.
