Crossstitch foot stool

My friend Dawn has just been to visit and with her she brought this beautiful and very appropriate crossstitch as a belated going away present.
I knew at once what to do with it. I wanted to make it into a foot stool. We chose some fabric together.
I just finished the stool today and here are some pics of it. I’m loving it – thanks Dawn!
