About Henriette Roued

I am doing a Doctorate (PhD) at the University of Oxford on the project: Image, Text, Interpretation: e-Science, technology and Documents (or just the e-Science project) from October 2008.

I am based at the Centre for the Study of Ancient Documents (CSAD) at the Ioannou Centre for Classical and Byzantine Studies (Classics) at the University of Oxford where my supervisor Professor Alan Bowman is situated.

The project and thus the doctorate is in co-operation with Professor Sir Michael Brady (Dept of Engineering Science, University of Oxford) and the Wolfson Medical Vision Laboratory (WMVL), Dr. Melissa Terras (UCL, London) and Research Assistant Dr. Ségolène Tarte the Oxford e-Research Centre (OeRC).

My thesis title is at the moment:

Interpretation Support System for the reading of ancient documents.

Hi Henriette,

Nice Skin! i was just about to blog your project and I found your wonderful blog. And I very much like the topic of your thesis. I am very much interested in deliberative systems in the humanities to support decision making; perhaps a similar angle.

We just started a new group on our site Arts-humanities.net about social approaches to the Digital Humanities. Perhaps you would like to join here:

best,

Craig
